Here are some pics that I scanned from one of “Radical” Rays photo albums. He had this album at a meeting a couple of months ago and I snagged it to scan the images. Like usual it takes me a couple of months to do anything, but I got there. These are almost all from the first NHRA Sponsored 1/4 mile race held in Great Bend, KS in 1955. At the end there are a couple of pictures from September 1954 that have his 34 in them, one with Rays wife Joan. Cool photos and some really interesting cars. Ray did tell me about them, but although his memory is almost twice the age of mine, his seems to be better as I cannot recall much at all! I need to go over them with Ray to get some info on the owners/drivers of each car.
