First of all, thanks to Tim and Angie for providing breakfast. It was a great start to the day.
We met at Tuckers (Rudy, Tucker, Gary and Myself). From there we headed over to Tim and Angies place for breakfast. Kevin and Jim met us at Tims. There was an enormous amount of food, enough biscuits and gravy to keep Sam energized for the next few weeks! Tims been busy working on a 32 which is progressing nicely. I was distracted by the multi carb setup he intends to run on a y-block.
From there it was onto Greaserama, with Grumpy meeting us over there. This year it was moved from the Boulevard Drive-Inn to the Platte County Fairgrounds in Tracy, MO. I didnt know what to expect really. But it was a good turn out and I thought it was a good venue. Kudos to the Punk Rodders. It must take a lot of time and effort to put on the show and it seemed to go without a hitch. They even had the infamous “Farm Truck” there with its owner and sidekick. They had a good selection of food trucks and plenty of porta-potties. The weather was good as well. Rain for about 5 mins and overcast most of the day. It would of been a lot hotter if it was bright and sunny.
I think there were more cars there, than at the drive-inn, but its hard to tell. At the drive-inn you are packed in tight. Here it was more random and spread out. I am not really into change, but I am ok with the new venue.
