Ironic to drive down and back from Salina in rain! But thats how it was. I went down on Saturday morning and came back Sunday morning.
It was a good show. Rudy had called me to say (most of the Misfits went down on Thursday) that there were a lot of new cars there… and there was. A lot of cool cars and a lot I hadnt seen before. Ray was nominated for the hall of fame, but sadly didnt make it in. That doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things, as Rays accomplished a hell of a lot and is well respected.
I was shittin bricks on the way home. Driving the Sedan Delivery in the pouring rain with my sons birthday party in the afternoon, I was just sitting there hoping it didnt conk out, and luckily it didnt. Here are the pics to prove it…
