It somehow all worked out. Weather was great, good BBQ and beer –> even of the Guinness variety. Participation was about perfect with filling the place up but not stacking em on top of one another. Pops came over and Kyle was up from AR (thank you for the door prize – much appreciated 🙂 ). We even had a participant drive over from Springfield, MO!
I had my 49 there and it had a snuggle fest with Greg’s 1950 Chevy Coupe (they both got so excited that they left spots on the asphalt!). Next year Mark will have his 51 Coupe there so there can be a full on orgy.
All the trophies looked good and Garys Cooler, striped by Blaineo, got a lot of attention. I know Gary had second thoughts about giving it away, but the guy that won it looked to be one happy camper. Kudos.
